Although its earliest origins are unknown Candida House was developed through the 1800’s by wealthy clergy as the Rectory for Whitchurch Canonicorum, at the heart of the Marshwood Vale. John & Cynthia Bain bought the house and grounds from the Church Commissioners in 1976 and have lovingly restored and improved it to create a family home and guest house with warmth and character. Three of the principal bedrooms are available for Bed & Breakfast accomodation, each with its own en suite bathroom, tv and tea/coffee making facilities. |
